Intrusion & Access Control Pre-Wiring for Commercial Facilities

Our technicians install low-voltage security wire for badge readers, electronic access control systems, door sensors, and control panels to EIA/TIA standards, delivering organized terminations, ANSI/TIA-606 labeling, and Fluke-certified testing.

Commercial Cabling Company is headquartered in Arizona with a wide network of trusted technicians throughout the United States.

Access Control Security Wire and Cable Installation

Commercial Cabling Company provides low-voltage infrastructure for commercial access control and intrusion detection systems, including pathway installation, structured cabling, terminations, and camera mounting. We do not install or configure control panels, card readers, fire alarm systems, or security software, and do not commission security devices.

Access control cable connects badge readers, electronic strikes, magnetic locks, and request-to-exit sensors to control panels. Cat6 and Cat6A horizontal cabling runs from each entrance to the security closet or main distribution frame. Every home run is labeled to ANSI/TIA-606 standards and terminated to T568A or T568B specifications.

Intrusion detection wiring includes security cable for motion sensors, glass break detectors, perimeter contacts, and end-of-line resistor circuits. Fiber optic backbone cabling connects remote buildings or exterior perimeter systems to the central security network.

How We Coordinate Security Services with Other Trades

Access control system installation requires disciplined coordination to deliver infrastructure that passes inspection and supports commissioning.

Our technicians attend pre-construction meetings to review door schedules, panel locations, and power requirements. We confirm pathway routes, ceiling access, and fire-rated penetrations before rough-in begins. Life-safety integration is coordinated so electronic locks fail-safe and unlock upon fire alarm activation per Authority Having Jurisdiction requirements.

Security integrators receive verified circuits, labeled terminations, and clear as-built drawings at handoff. General contractors benefit from predictable scheduling. Facility directors gain infrastructure that passes inspection without change orders.

Structured Cabling Standards and Testing

With over 75 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications and data center build-outs, our technicians have delivered access control and intrusion wiring for facilities where precision and uptime matter.

Materials and Standards

Division 27 (Structured Cabling) standards and EIA/TIA specifications guide every installation.

We use PANDUIT, LEVITON, COMMSCOPE, BELDEN, HUBBELL, and CPI (Chatsworth) components.

Horizontal cabling is terminated to T568A or T568B per project specifications. All labeling follows ANSI/TIA-606 standards.

Testing

Fluke-certified cable testing verifies performance on every data circuit. Test results are included in final documentation.

Fiber optic installations include fusion splicing, APC and UPC connector options, and fiber panels or LIU enclosures.

Single-mode fiber supports long-distance campus runs. Multi mode fiber connects buildings within 300 meters.

Why Specialized Access Control Solutions Matter

General electricians and security integrators often focus on power distribution and device programming. Commercial Cabling Company provides the organized, tested, and documented communications infrastructure installed in accordance with ANSI/TIA standards that both trades rely on for efficient system installation and commissioning.

Disorganized, unlabeled cabling creates unnecessary complexity. Troubleshooting takes longer, service costs increase, and future changes become difficult. Our technicians deliver clean terminations, wire management, and complete labeling maps that facilities teams can reference years after installation.

From single-drop tenant improvements to
500+ drop data center build-outs.

Every project includes professional installation, full testing and certification, and complete documentation. Our experienced technicians deliver cost-effective, future-ready cabling solutions that ensure your network performs reliably for years to come.
