Commercial Network Wiring Serving Gilbert, AZ & the East Valley
Commercial structured cabling is the planned, standards-based system of copper and fiber lines, racks, and patch panels that connects a building’s computers, phones, wireless access points, cameras, and displays to the network.
Commercial Cabling Company (CCC) designs, builds, tests, and documents these systems for medical practices, offices, schools, restaurants, and retail and mixed-use centers. Every job closes out with tested results, clear labeling, and as-built documentation, so your IT team or provider can turn up the network with confidence.
We are used to working in occupied spaces, from active clinics to open offices, where the work has to be clean, quiet, and on schedule.
Commercial Structured Cabling Services in Gilbert, AZ
Whether you’re building out a new space, rearranging an existing office, or opening a new location, we can handle the entire project from start to finish.
Copper Cabling for Offices and Clinics
Cat6 supports 1 Gigabit Ethernet for standard office and clinic use, while Cat6A supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet for high-density, high-demand spaces. We build to EIA/TIA standards with Panduit connectors and help you choose the grade that fits your equipment and growth.
Workstation, Furniture-System & Conference Room Cabling
We provide desk drops, floor boxes, furniture-system connections, and conference and collaboration space hookups for offices and call centers. Where existing runs are in good shape, we reuse them instead of pulling new ones.
Wi-Fi Access Points: Mounting and Connections
We run the connections, mount the units, and document each location for access points in clinics, offices, restaurants, and retail spaces, coordinated with your IT provider.
MDF & IDF Buildouts and Cleanup
We set up new racks, patch panels, and wire management in your main distribution frame (MDF) and intermediate distribution frame (IDF) rooms, or clean up a crowded network closet with relabeling and as-built documentation, so the room is easy to support. Learn more about our MDF/IDF buildouts and cleanup service.
Backbone Links Between Rooms and Floors
When runs are long or a building has more than one network closet, we add fiber optic backbone links with fusion splicing and termination to tie your IDFs back to the MDF. Our neighboring Chandler page covers campus-scale backbone work.
Security Camera & Access Control Pre-Wire
We run lines for security cameras, door access control, and intrusion systems, so your security contractor can mount and connect on a finished, labeled network.
Sound Masking & AV Cabling
We set up sound masking and speech privacy systems for medical offices, call centers, and open offices, plus wiring and mounting for AV displays and projectors.
Testing & Documentation
Every copper run is tested with Fluke equipment, with electronic results provided to the customer and a logical numbering system for every connection. Learn more about our testing and documentation process.
Moves, Adds & Changes
After move-in, we handle moves, adds, and changes as your space evolves, from a relocated desk to a new exam room.
Why Local Businesses Rely on Well-Built Network Wiring
As the town grows, so does the need for reliable network infrastructure. Clinics, offices, schools, restaurants, and retail centers cannot afford frequent outages or systems that become difficult to manage over time. A properly tested and labeled network makes it easier to accommodate equipment upgrades, office moves, and new tenants without unnecessary disruption.
Healthcare is a major part of the local economy and, according to the town’s Office of Economic Development, its largest source of jobs. Banner Gateway Medical Center, Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center are at the center of this growing healthcare sector, with additional medical facilities planned or already under construction.
The town’s business community extends well beyond healthcare. Its central employment area includes a broad mix of industries, while the northwest area attracts technology and aerospace companies. Near Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, the Gateway area supports aviation businesses and large retail developments. Downtown, the Heritage District continues to grow as a destination for restaurants, shops, and professional offices.
That mix puts demands on the network:
Occupied from day one.
Clinics, offices, and restaurants cannot go dark during an upgrade, so the work is phased, quiet, and clean.
More than data.
One shared system carries computers, Wi-Fi, phones, cameras, access control, displays, point-of-sale terminals, and drive-thru equipment.
Built for change.
Practices add exam rooms, offices get reconfigured, and tenants turn over. Labeled, documented wiring makes each change faster and lower risk.
For new suites and tenant improvements, we coordinate with your general contractor. Lines are roughed in before ceilings close, and test results are ready when your IT team turns up the network. In existing buildings, we schedule around your patients, staff, and customers.
Industries We Serve in Gilbert, AZ
Hospitals & Healthcare Facilities
Hospital and healthcare networks are mission-critical, and the buildings are always being renovated, expanded, or re-equipped. We handle MDF/IDF buildouts, modernization and cleanup, backbone links, Wi-Fi coverage, and sound masking, as well as moves, adds, and changes. We plan for strict access, cleanliness, personal protective equipment (PPE), dust control, and phased work around occupied areas. See our healthcare and medical facilities capabilities.
Medical Offices & Outpatient Facilities
Clinics and specialty practices need dependable data drops, strong Wi-Fi, and exam rooms where conversations stay private. We run copper lines, mount access points, and wire AV displays, and we add sound masking for speech privacy. Every connection is tested and documented, and we phase the work or schedule it after hours so patients are not disturbed.
Corporate Offices, Regional Offices & Call Centers
Local offices are often reconfigured rather than rebuilt, with new desks, new floor boxes, and new conference rooms. We handle desk and furniture-system connections, conference room hookups, server room runs, and Wi-Fi coverage, and we add sound masking for open floors and call centers. High-density floors are phased so staff keep working. See our corporate office and call center work.
Restaurants, Retail & Mixed-Use Spaces
Restaurants, shops, and mixed-use centers run on point-of-sale systems, Wi-Fi, cameras, digital signage, and, for restaurants, drive-thru equipment. We wire tenant and common areas and leave clean connection points for the other technology providers on site. We plan for occupied spaces, high ceilings, lifts, and fall protection. See our retail and commercial spaces capabilities.
Schools & Colleges
Schools and colleges need classroom connections, campus-wide Wi-Fi, and AV display and projector hookups, often completed during breaks and after hours. We work around legacy wiring, follow campus access rules, and plan phased renovations. Qualifying personnel hold Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance cards, and we are a registered service provider in the federal E-Rate program (SPIN 143055011). See our educational institutions work.
We also serve hotels and hospitality properties, municipal and public facilities, and manufacturers, warehouses, and data centers. For large industrial campuses, see our fiber optic backbone installation in Chandler.
Local Projects
Recent local projects in Gilbert show how we set up reliable networks in working medical offices, commercial offices, and restaurants.
Medical Office Network and Wi-Fi Expansion
Gilbert Neurology (243025)
Project Overview
CCC completed a full network build for a medical practice, adding new data connections and Wi-Fi coverage designed to tie into the facility’s existing telecom setup.
The Challenge
The practice needed more network connections while continuing to operate in an existing facility. Because the new work would tie into an existing IDF, careful routing, organization, labeling, and testing were important so every new connection could be identified, maintained, and supported.
CCC’s Solution
CCC ran new copper lines throughout the office, using the existing IDF as the point of connection. New routes and cable supports were added where needed, and the lines were neatly bundled throughout the space.
The job included Panduit connectors, computer-generated labels, and a logical numbering system for each connection. Every new run was tested and certified, with electronic results provided to the customer.
CCC also extended a connection to a new access point location and mounted the customer-provided access point, expanding Wi-Fi coverage within the practice.
The Result
The practice now has an organized, professionally tested network that supports reliable data and Wi-Fi. Because the new work ties cleanly into the existing setup, it is easy to maintain and expand as technology needs change.

Office Reconfiguration and Floor Box Connectivity
SVCC (277926)
Project Overview
CCC modified an office’s existing wiring to support a reconfiguration, adapting the network to a newly laid out workspace while reusing as much of it as possible.
The Challenge
As part of the renovation, 26 new desks needed network connections. Existing copper runs had to be rerouted to the new desk locations through newly added floor boxes while keeping the system organized and functional.
Relocated runs also had to be verified as working once the changes were complete.
CCC’s Solution
CCC rerouted 52 existing runs through five floor boxes to serve the 26 new desks. The runs were finished with new connectors and faceplates and tested for proper operation before the project closed.
By reusing existing runs where appropriate, CCC adapted the network to the new layout without replacing functional lines.
The Result
The newly configured desks now have organized, reliable network connections, and the office made efficient use of what it already had.
The project shows CCC’s ability to support office renovations, desk moves, and network reconfigurations in addition to complete new builds.

New Restaurant Network Build
Freddy’s (257025)
Project Overview
CCC built the network for a new restaurant, supporting its data, Wi-Fi, drive-thru, and closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. The team used the existing telecom room as the central point for the new setup and based the system on Panduit copper.
The Challenge
Modern restaurants rely on connectivity for far more than office computers. The new location needed a network that could support several systems across customer-facing, operational, and drive-thru areas.
The lines also had to be routed and supported cleanly, leaving room for other technology providers to connect their equipment to a well-built network.
CCC’s Solution
CCC ran 27 home runs, additional local copper connections, and coax for the CCTV locations. Connections were provided for data locations, Wi-Fi access points, and the drive-thru menu system.
The work included Panduit connectors, professionally generated labels, and an organized numbering system that simplifies identification and future service. All copper runs were tested, and electronic results are available to the customer.
The Result
The restaurant now has an organized, professionally tested network that supports day-to-day operations.
By coordinating data, Wi-Fi, drive-thru, and CCTV connections in one system, CCC gave the location a reliable foundation for every technology it runs.

Why Businesses Choose CCC
Most projects happen in buildings that stay open for business, and our approach is built around that.
Work Planned Around Patients, Staff, and Customers
We phase the work, schedule after-hours time where needed, and follow site rules for access, cleanliness, and dust control, so your operation keeps running while we work.
Site Walks Before Quotes
Someone from our team walks the space, checking routes, ceilings, existing runs, and network closets, before we price the job. The scope then reflects the building you actually have.
We Reuse What Works
When existing wiring is in good shape, we reroute, re-terminate, and test it instead of replacing it, as on a recent office reconfiguration. When it is not, we recommend new runs.
Every Run Tested, Labeled, and Documented
Every copper run is tested and labeled with a logical numbering system. At closeout, you receive electronic test results and as-built records, so your IT team knows what is in place, where it lands, and that it works.
Manufacturer Warranty Options
Our Panduit credentials make qualifying projects eligible for manufacturer warranty coverage of up to 25 years, subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
Commercial Cabling Company’s Credentials
Clients can verify who is doing the work before it starts. We are a family-owned company founded by a union-trained communications electrician with more than 30 years in the trade, and we work only in commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
